If you take the details of a religion out of context to start looking like a complete nonsense, even you.
As an atheist I think it is because all religion is based on any combination of fairytales, our ancestors invented from scratch in an attempt to give meaning to their existence.
But it would be petty of me, that I believe to be valid, and start criticizing their beliefs, is not it?
